A few months ago, I visited some friends in Hong Kong and then made a book when I got back to Tokyo. It turns out that my book was eligible to be entered in a contest on Blurb.com (a self-publishing website) that has a fairly decent prize. However, there is a hitch (of course there is a hitch): in order for your book to actually be eligible for the prize, you have to get people to “vote” for your book by going to Blurb.com and signing up and voting.
Obviously, Blurb is advertising their service and building their mailing list by getting me to get you to sign up and vote, but the prize is significant enough that it is worth the effort on my part to try and get people to sign up and vote for my book.
If you click on the link below, you can vote for my book and help make me eligible AND you can also look at the full book in “Preview” mode (and you can even buy a copy if you really like it…) – THANKS!
